Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston are two of the very few remaining "nine old men" from the classic days of Walt Disney Feature Animation. Their respective careers at Disney, seemingly "joined at the hip", began with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) and continued through to The Fox and the Hound (1981). Since then, Frank & Ollie have been jointly responsible for some of the most authoritative books on Disney animation, beginning with The Illusion of Life in 1981. Meeting these two legends, and their charming wives, was one of the highlights of 1994.
